Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to ensure inventory accuracy and timely shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Stock Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse layout, including shelving and pallet racking.
- Load Handling: Safely load and unload trucks using proper slings, straps, and securing methods.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (must be presented at interview).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order accuracy.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from the facility.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
