Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials around the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks while maintaining safety protocols.
- Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, conduct daily safety inspections, and report any hazards immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for shipments and equipment logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends.
