Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor to ensure efficient workflow and prevent accidents.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by counting stock and updating inventory logs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety communication.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification through our training program.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Valid driver's license (if driving a company vehicle).
