Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper stowage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all machinery to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize stock efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but beneficial).
