Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accuracy and speed during the loading process.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues with the forklift immediately.
- Keep Facility Organized: Ensure the warehouse aisles and workspaces are clean, tidy, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience Level: No prior forklift experience is required. We will train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Must be able to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety compliance.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
