Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and scanning incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging data.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus.
