Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Conduct inventory counts and stock replenishment to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly workspace to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
