Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C preferred).
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification if not already held.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
