Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in organizing stock, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring stockroom organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and report any hazards immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring packages are properly labeled and secured.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders/stairs.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new machinery.
- Background: No prior forklift experience necessary; we will train the right candidate.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety logs and inventory sheets.
