Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to maintain accurate stock counts.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
- Assist in the packing and shipping process, ensuring packages are labeled correctly and ready for dispatch.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must hold a current and valid forklift operator license (CP, LF, or HE).
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, track inventory, and maintain accuracy.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
