Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring cargo is secured and protected from damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and complete daily logs accurately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required but preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow safety procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
