Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and stage materials for shipment with precision and speed.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update stock records in the system.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of storage areas.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on an ongoing basis.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Virginia Beach facility.
