Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jacks) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Inspect equipment daily for defects and report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
