Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping schedules.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Verify inventory counts and document any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and productivity.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and hazard prevention.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and reporting.
