As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring products are moved safely and efficiently to their designated storage locations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to/from shipping docks.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before and after each shift and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform daily cleaning and organization of the workspace to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or scanning barcodes.
