Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to prioritize shipments and meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Assist in the packaging and palletizing of goods to ensure proper storage and safety.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Valid license required for the specific equipment operated).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new warehouse software quickly.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
