Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock, ensuring all data in the warehouse management system is up-to-date.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the team to organize the warehouse layout and optimize storage space for maximum efficiency.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery to external clients.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
