As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and shipments are processed with speed and care.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including Forklifts, Reach Trucks, and Pallet Jacks, to load and unload trailers and conveyors safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and digital documentation.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company operational procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize storage layouts and improve workflow efficiency.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of orders for shipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
