Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure OSHA compliance and safety.
- Verify accuracy of inventory counts by scanning barcodes and reconciling stock against warehouse management systems.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse floor to ensure efficient workflow and safety for all personnel.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound freight.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while performing physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners is a plus.
