Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform inventory checks and ensure accurate stock placement using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Handle pallets and heavy loads with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required; we will train if you have a strong aptitude for machinery.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills for inventory tracking.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
