Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory checks and maintain organized stock areas to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Properly palletize goods and stack them securely for storage or shipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow employees to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
