Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems to track stock movements and shipments.
- Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and preparing products for delivery.
- Perform routine safety checks on forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
