Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure accurate inventory flow.
- Operational Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting, stock organization, and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members to coordinate daily operations.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping in compliance with customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order processing.
