Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move products.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock items using warehouse management systems.
- Stock Organization: Organize, stack, and merchandise products on shelves and racks to ensure easy access and safety.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards to comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- License: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class 3 or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
