Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff, fostering a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and manage discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse machinery are maintained and in safe operating condition.
- Performance Review: Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory due to our paid training program.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
