Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts) safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring inventory integrity and proper documentation.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to maintain optimal working conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and cycle counts as requested by management.
- Follow all company traffic rules and warehouse protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide proof of certification).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Mandatory).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions (loading dock).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
