Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks efficiently while adhering to safety weight limits.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for scanning labels and using warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
