Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counts as requested by management.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure a smooth handover of inventory and operational status.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Type A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Documentation: High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
