Key Duties
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling stock against digital records.
- Maintain a spotless and organized work area, adhering to 5S safety standards at all times.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize shipping and receiving workflows during night operations.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and the physical stamina required to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and completing shift reports.
