Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload products.
- Precise Handling: Ensure accurate placement of inventory on pallets and shelves to prevent damage and optimize storage space.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and forklift certification requirements during every shift.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, pick, pack, and stage orders efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Maintenance Checks:
- Conduct routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition before operation.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in the warehouse and dock areas.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn the trade are essential.
- Background Check:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods; good hand-eye coordination.
- Availability:
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Documentation:
- Valid ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
