Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Manage inventory accurately, including scanning, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure a smooth handover of operations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety compliance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
