Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, order pickers, sit-down forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse storage areas efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational policies.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator Certification (Forklift Endorsement) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy industrial forklifts.
- Ability to work a night shift schedule (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret pick tickets and shipping orders.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
