Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload shipments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
