Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently during the night shift. You will be responsible for moving inventory, managing stock levels, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock placement in the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly at all times.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as sweeping, organizing, and tagging inventory.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (training provided if no prior experience).
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
