Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and to loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
