Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift to ensure proper functioning.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
