Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate inventory placement and retrieval using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipping and receiving of orders.
- Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock organization to minimize errors.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFO) or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is a plus.
