Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and documenting stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the proper tagging and storage of hazardous materials according to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or pallet jacks preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures strictly.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
