Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, railcars, and trucks with precision and speed.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required: We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
