Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and ensure the forklift is clean and in good working order.
- Organize and stack inventory according to safety regulations and warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of pallets and merchandise.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and logging.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
