Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, locate, and stock merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding machinery operation.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and handling.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks/warehouses).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
