As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that our inventory is managed accurately and our customers receive their orders on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trailers, trucks, and shipping containers following proper safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and verify incoming and outgoing stock against shipping documents.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and documenting shipments.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
