Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to/from dock doors.
- Pallet Management: Properly stack and organize pallets using shrink wrap, banding, and stacking techniques to ensure stability and safety.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tagging, counting, and recording the location of stock.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the work area clean, orderly, and free of hazards at all times to comply with safety regulations.
- Material Transport: Transfer materials from receiving dock to storage areas and distribute materials to production lines or shipping departments.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- No Experience Necessary: We provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions. Good vision and hand-eye coordination are required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
