Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and stand-up reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and handling procedures are followed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, scan, and record inventory using handheld scanners or manual logs to ensure stock accuracy.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safe traffic flow.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: No previous forklift experience required. We are looking for motivated individuals willing to learn.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills required for accurate inventory counting and weight calculations.
