Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, locate, and stack merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols are met.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and railcars in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock organization.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (5S Standards).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills required for inventory counting and documentation.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training to obtain forklift certification.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
