Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trucks and trailers in an organized manner, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipment according to customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with our company.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
