Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move pallets and heavy loads within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner while adhering to shipping schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Perform inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations regarding machinery operation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and order fulfillment.
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to learn and obtain forklift certification (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and counting.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
