Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our warehouse operates efficiently. You will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and retrieval of materials. We value safety above all else and provide top-tier equipment to our team.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks in compliance with safety protocols and shipping schedules.
- Organize and stock inventory with high accuracy to minimize errors.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and inventory coordinators.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior forklift experience is required; training will be provided.
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic English instructions.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory management.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
