Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pallet Management: Properly stack and organize pallets to ensure maximum warehouse space utilization and safety compliance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Inventory Control: Assist in inventory counting, picking, packing, and verifying orders to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Material Transport: Transport materials between departments, dock areas, and storage zones using dollies, hand trucks, or pallet jacks as needed.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing workspaces.
- Shift Coordination: Work efficiently during assigned shifts to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions, check orders carefully, and maintain high accuracy standards.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read and understand basic inventory labels and count items accurately.
- Reliability: Punctual, consistent attendance, and a positive attitude toward safety and teamwork.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience is necessary; we will train the right candidate.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
