Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks) safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload products.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety compliance and operational readiness.
- Load and unload trucks according to shipping schedules, ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking and damage control.
- Organize and stock warehouse shelves, maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workspace for all staff.
- Collaborate with team leads and inventory managers to streamline workflow processes and resolve logistical challenges.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) with valid license and OSHA training documentation.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse maps, pick lists, and safety manuals.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or scanning barcodes.
